After earning several critical accolades & nationwide acclaim, Punjab Grill has expanded its reach globally by opening outlets in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bangkok & Singapore.

About Project

Punjab Grill, renowned for its North West frontier cuisine, had appointed me as the Marketing Manager for the new store opening as well as marketing management for existing restaurants. Launch Operations, Sales, Marketing, Research and Partnership Alliances.

Our Role

  • Bundling a Brand building format for all brands in chorus by increasing visibility, enticing more trials with an option to retain & performing under budgets decided
  • Conceptualising, planning & organising brand promotion activities by developing new communication mix and fresh strategies for new brand launches.
  • Identifying target audience, planning marketing activities and executing promotions to achieve volume circulations, enhance product visibility & driving volumes.
  • Championed marketing programs and general business solutions resulting in increased customer traffic and revenue.
  • identifying and developing new streams for long term revenue growth and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve repeat and referral business.
  • Coordinated with the Creative & PR Agencies for Designing of advertisements, campaigns, Leaflets, e-Direct mailers, Hoardings/ Signage, Promotional designs. pushed more and more PR activities
  • Led the development and implementation of annual marketing plans that resulted in consistent sales increases, in a flat-growth industry. During this time, marketing played a key role in achieving sales growth that consistently outperformed key competitors and the industry as a whole
  • Initiated a comprehensive, relational database-marketing program, which increased customer retention by over 10% in the first month and achieved ROI in 6 months
  • Created a charitable event program with Child helpline (1098), which married the efforts of independent NGOs, store operations staff, and two separate charities and resulted in valuable community-service exposure.
  • Developed a New Store Opening program for Polo Campero Delhi  in a market with no brand awareness, resulting in record traffic & revenue and a sustained weekly increase
  • Developed and directed various Sales promotions achieving redemption rates of 5– 10%
  • Utilized sales prospecting & contact management database system, improving productivity by implementing a ERP cum CRM program(ongoing)
  • Expanded vendor resources resulting in improved finished quality of print and merchandising materials and shortened production schedules
  • Researched marketing efforts of competitors, recommend and implement strategies based on findings
